Boehly just hasn't spent enough in the transfer market for Chelsea to compete with sides like West Ham yet
So funny. They’ve spent a billion pounds and ended up with such a bang average squad. They still don’t have a striker. Jackson isn’t a number 9 at their level in this league. Maybe he’ll have some success cutting in though.
Everything here is so murky. What does it take for a woman to record her boyfriend threatening sexual violence and then release that publicly? It feels like there is no potential out here beyond this guy is a nasty piece of work. Any arguments about roleplay or... I cannot think of any other excuse... go out the window when she releases that information. How have they found him not guilty???
'Based on the evidence available to us, we have concluded that the material posted online did not provide a full picture and that Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged. That said, as Mason publicly acknowledges today, he has made mistakes which he is taking responsibility for.' Absolutely grim that Manchester United would put their name to that.
"and Mason did not commit the offences" Scumbag football club. The fact they even tested the waters with this shows where they're minds were at. ****ing wrong'uns.
Sounds like Lawyers/HR talk to me. Mason's Lawyers probably wanted something like that, so that he isn't prejudiced (lol good luck) with his next move. The bottom line (Not that i agree) is that he hasn't been convicted or charged so they had to put something like that in.
That statement is so vague. They obviously can't call him a criminal but I don't get why they've included: "Based on the evidence available to us, we have concluded that the material posted online did not provide a full picture and that Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged" If they truly believed that they wouldn't have released him. Either stand by him or sack him for gross misconduct (which his behaviour warrants). Instead they've taken the easy, cowardly way out of this situation.
Not sure they did. Something along the lines of "Mason is obviously an innocent man in the eyes of the law however his behavior has clearly brought the club into disrepute" I suspect they've done it this way so they can transfer him and not pay off his contract. Off to Saudi would be my guess.
It’s not good enough. But I am glad he will never play for them again. I assume he will have to go abroad now
