I see Leicester fans are fuming at Ryan Bertrand online. He was at Stamford bridge watching Chelsea, after not watching Leicester. Supposedly still on 80k per week. Savage
Classic Bodgers recruitment that, he had been declining rapidly here for nearly two seasons at that point. We should have sold him earlier and retained Targett instead, who was already playing better than Bertrand at the time he left. Of course peak Bertrand > peak Targett before someone gets onto me for that.
Just a thought but if Everton and West Ham swapped managers, would it give the clubs and fans a boost, getting an old boy back, or would it tip them over the edge?
Why? Being an old boy doesn’t guarantee they will succeed there. No reason to believe lampard can get anything out of West Ham if Moyes can’t
West Hams drop off compared to last season is pretty shocking. At least Everton have been **** for years.
No it doesn’t, but Moyes did a good job at Everton, in fact their decline could possibly track back to his departure. Lampard isn’t a good manager but did a good job for Derby and being “one of the boys” could get the new manager boost clubs look for.
