Who cares about Forest, they'll still be in the bottom 3 and Brentford are only 3 points ahead of us so not sure of your logic there.
It was a bizarre original comment to post on circa 42 minutes. It almost seems like the second the “as it stands” results have us slipping into the bottom three that some people panic and start losing it. We don’t get relegated just for appearing in the zone at any point during any game! I can’t imagine how some people here could possibly have survived the 90s assuming they were old enough to be actively following saints
I also don't really understand the constant scrutiny of other teams. Sure, we could have done without Leeds winning at Anfield last weekend but it's far too early to get really concerned about these sorts of things.
Because it looks like we are going to need 3 teams to be worse than us again. Luckily most of the bottom half are **** so there are lots of potential options to be in those 3.
I guess some people are afraid that as soon as we drop into the bottom three then we just never get out again. Whereas as long as we are above the line…
Wolves aren’t going to be relegated. Decent new manager and they will give him money to spend in Jan.
Depends whether they can keep scoring goals. 2 in the first half is promising; 8 in the previous 14 matches, not so much.
Assuming they have any. I recall seeing something about their finances being strained. But to be fair that was supposed to be the case with Everton as well
Proper Ralph style form - surprise result against a big team then back to losing games you should win on paper
Depends on the owners attitude (same with all teams threatened with relegation half way through the season) spend a chunk in Jan to try and ensure survival or roll the dice and stick and risk losing the PL money. Neither are 100% guaranteed but I would guess the teams that spend in Jan tend to have a better success rate
All my Leeds mates said this would happen and told me to lump on Bournemouth. Obviously I didn’t listen
