Depends on your definition of ****ty. If I was at a game and saw our striker getting pushed around like that, shoved in the back or held onto if the ball was even anywhere near him, I'd be pretty pissed off and calling for the ref to clamp down on it. If it's our defender doing it and doing it as cleverly as the Crystal Palace player I'd probably be quite pleased with it. Ahh the double standards of being a football fan. It's good physical defending for sure, but you've got to be smart with it otherwise you'd be giving away fouls all the time, which to me at least suggests it's pretty ****ty.

I think that the press are relishing the reversal in fortunes of Man Utd under Ten Haag yet i would not be surprised if they beat Liverpool on Monday. The press seem less concerned as to how the departure of Mane has weakened Liverpool and their less than impressive results in the first two matches. I have a funny feeling about the match on Monday and can see United putting Liverpool to the sword against all expectations. It seems staggering to me that Utd have been unable to reverse their decline since the retirmenet of Sir Alex and it just seems overdue. That said, I think critics have overlooked Arsenal and I am just wondering if my assessment of Liverpool finishing second of a few weeks ago might have done the London club an injustice too. I cannot see Man CIty being over taken but I wonder if Liverpool's rennaisance under Klopp is now coming to it's conclusion.
Arsenal look like a completely different animal this season. Could well be in the title hunt, although I still expect City to win it.
How many people really rated him in the first place? I guess he got an easier ride than he should have due to the overwhelming pro-Liverpool bias in the English football media I’m sure I posted on here when he was hired about how I did not think it was a good appointment. Incidentally - I said the same about Marsch as well that might not end up being correct (but they were insanely lucky to stay up and my main point on Marsch was the timing was insane)
