    So, two games left, we are six points ahead of Leeds, with a seventeen better goal difference. The water may be lapping at the gunwales, but I think that our lifeboat should stay afloat long enough to reach the metaphorical promised land of Premier League status next season. Allowing for Saints' ability to pluck defeat from the jaws of victory, I realise that nothing is settled until a differently-sized person of non-specific gender starts to tune up, but I think we're safe.
