    Everton 2-0 up at HT.
They have been really up for it, but having said that, Leeds have hit the bar twice and Everton seem to be leaving a lot of space in front of the back four.

Sure I just heard the commentator say “silky build up” after Citeh created a chance.
The “silky build up” was 2 (TWO) fecking passes.
    The forelock tugging is cringeworthy.

Tottingham fortunate to avoid a heavy defeat at the hands of Southampton

They’re creaming themselves over Trippier’s free kick, but it should have been stopped by the wall. Buendia bottled it - if he’d stood tall he’d have stopped it. Don’t put a small guy in the wall!!

For all the excitement some had about Newcastle potentially going down if they win this then they're 70% there already.

Realistically would probably only need another 3 wins and couple of draws.

Even if they don't win today I really don't see them going down.

I think Newcastle will now be safe, but it would be very interesting to see how they coped if Saint Maximin was absent for a few weeks.
Even in the games when he doesn’t score or create chances he buys them time to reorganise with his hold up play.
It would also be interesting if their game against us was rearranged for a time when us winning kept them in with a chance of going down.

Yeah. I swear some people continue to just blindly stick to the mantra that 38 to 40 points means survival, when realistically 35 will often be more than ample. Maybe as little as 30 to 32.

Every chance that the relegation battle will be wrapped up in four weeks from now. In that period, Brentford play Norwich, Burnley and Newcastle. If they pick up sufficient points, there's every chance that Watford, Burnley and Norwich will all be cut right adrift.

Watkins is basically a younger, fresher version of Long.

Puts his heart and soul into matches; will never stop running. But misses chances for fun, and is ALWAYS offside.

Any more injuries for Newcastle and they'll be faking Covid cases to get games called off.
