I think we rather mugged Leicester with Vestergaard.

 

Crazy end for sure. But Spurs totally deserved it. They should have been out of sight long before that finish.

(Small point, but Bergwijn was lucky not to get a second yellow for his celebration.)

 

I was wondering about that

 

True, they created enough chances to win 2 games. But Leicester cannot lose that. After the equalizer you take the point. You slow it down and end the game. What Leicester did was so stupid it's off the scale.

 

Searching "Vestegaard" on Twitter is quite fun right now.

 

Prediction: We'll finish above Leicester in the table.

Don't think I've ever seen Tielemans play as bad as he did tonight. Horrid in all aspects of his game.

Slightly ironic that they play Brighton next. I said on here earlier this week that Potter could do with taking advantage of his current position, because he won't be hot property like this forever. And he'll only need to look over at Rodgers for proof of that. Sure Leicester have had injuries this season. But I'd suggest that they're sufficiently under-achieving that he's closer to the sack than getting a bigger club come in for him.

 

There's probably a few Spurs fans kicking themselves somewhere for leaving 5 minutes early......

 

Someone either here or on Saintsweb was musing on whether Leicester would avoid their usual bottle job this season as they have created themselves a break with the postponed games (and the delay allowing some of their injury list to clear)

That isn’t working out so far

 

The 'funny thing' was that I said "oh I may as well turn it off now and come in the lounge as Leicester have won" She said "has it finished?" I replied, "only 30 seconds or so left so yes" and turned it off.

 

That Ronaldo face after being subbed says exactly why Man U aren’t functioning as a team ….. undermines the manager by whinging because he’s such a megastar.

 

We all know how this ends. A team like us who've not requested any postponements will get badly hit after the rules change and end up getting beat 9-0.

 

Must say I’m feeling pretty smug right now. I had a heated Twitter discussion when we sold Vestergaard.

Some saints fans were having a melt down, and I said not to worry as all he has in his locker is long balls and he’s crap at everything else… turns out I was correct.

 

Players with their heads out the door are worthless to a team IMO.

 

This is what I expected to happen and I was wrong ...till I was right
