Not quite enough time I don’t think I have been raising an eyebrow at all the comments on bbc live text talking about haves and have nots and unfair the gap is. Blah blah blah i seem to remember when we went down to Man United people were laughing at us and the massive injury list, early (justified) red card was just ignored as was the outrageously biased refereeing display. You know - where Mike Dean was clearly desperate to get into the record book as reffing the largest winning margin game in history and was doing whatever it took to make it happen So no - I don’t care that Leeds have to play some teenagers or that the fixture list has been harsh by somehow guessing they will have lots of injuries just when they played Chelsea and Man City one after enough (genuine comments)
Bielsa must be living on borrowed time. Big Sam to Leeds? By which time Eddie Howe would have gone! When these types of regimes come in, changing managers happens frequently.
Really we need another 3 to really take the heat off us. Another 9-0 and it will probably just mean we get brought up more
And absolutely unheard of that a managers can’t really stop an average squad ravaged by injuries to key first team players getting smashed by a Manchester club. Who ever would have thought ?
Where are the 3 minutes from? You’d have to think if they really wanted them they could get them. Go for the record
Problem is once it gets to say 7-0, they seem to slow down as everyone takes even ¼ chances as nothing to lose and won't get shouted at for not passing etc.
Naturally I have Jesus in my FL team to replace Aubameyang. I really need to get some Palace players in quick...
I think Leeds are ****ed without Phillips. He seems to be out long term so would not be surprised to see them go down. They just look so open without Phillips in midfield.
Yeah this is why 8's and above are so rare. You have to be constantly on it really to win a game by that sort margin. Which makes it all the more impressive that we managed two nine nil defeats in 16 months really.
Only having 10 men in one game and nine in the other makes a difference. The second 9-0 shouldn’t have stood. The red card was rescinded, so the goals scored after that should be rescinded too!
The penalty that Dean awarded as a result of Bednarek’s foul that wasn’t a foul obviously wasn’t a penalty, so it should have stayed at 6-0.
I also still maintain that VAR should have disallowed Leicester’s first goal in the first 0-9. Having identified Bertrand’s red card, my understanding is play cannot continue (ie no advantage) from a red card situation so play should be brought back to that point? wouldn’t have made much difference on the night , but a technicality that I still think might have been wrong
