Our goalkeeper injuries and key suspensions are frustrating because we would have a good chance against Arsenal if they play like they did tonight But I would expect them to be better at home regardless
Aubameyang has really struggled to score this season, so you know what's coming. It may also be because he leads the line for my fantasy league team, so I'm keeping him in, just in case.
All good here, thanks for asking IOAG!. I got back to Aberdeen yesterday after 10 days in Soton, so I missed the last storm. Some folks have only just got their power back on, loads of trees down etc.
I didn’t want to add what you put in your first sentence because we are generally very generous with regards to the rehabilitation of goal scorers who are going through bad spells. It’s good that you are taking one for the team, by keeping him in your fantasy team. Now, just wondering if Ralph will sit Redmond and Lucy down and show them the winning goal, from last night, and let them know that it’s okay for them to do that.
What result would be best for us in this Brentford vs Watford match? Sucking Brentford in could be helpful. They would be high on most people’s list for “club that goes on a bad run and gets pulled in” They seem to really blow hot and cold and I’m not sure Watford picking up points from them is indicative that they have what it takes to shoot up the table …
Watford's attacking talent is legit. Granted, their defense is catastrophic, but there are teams with catastrophic defenses and limp forward lines. They might go down, but they're not in the Norwich category of futility for me.
Yeah they're not as bad as Norwich but I think they're worse than every other side. Norwich won't get 20 points and I don't think Watford will get much more than 25. Low total to stay up again this year I reckon.
Potentially. They've been really bad of late, but their next seven in the league are Burnley, Palace, Wolves, West Ham, Spurs, Newcastle and Norwich...if they find any form whatsoever (where "form" means "the ability to go five minutes without surrendering a goal") they could be well clear of the drop by mid-January. Or they could just end up feeding their fellow stragglers points at every opportunity.
