The snobby attitude comes from the viewers. If Dave from the pub is on Sky analysing the game and he knows everything about football, more people would still listen to Glenn Murray as he is a name.

But it extends to the likes of James Richardson who should have been MOTD2 host years ago. And to my knowledge has never appeared on Sky

You are focusing on my quip about me knowing more. But loads of very knowledgeable football journalists are sidelined for complete idiots. Michael Owen on commentary and the like …

I wasn’t talking about you, just saying that as long as somebody is a “name” as an ex pro then then general masses will listen to them far more than anyone else

It’s the same in cricket, every English pundit on Sky has played for (and in a lot of cases captained) England. If you haven’t you don’t get on. Name is everything in their eyes to get people to listen to you

Do you work for football365?
No - I tried to put in a sarcastic eye roll but it seems the sites doesn’t play with emojis - at least when I try them

I bring it up because they seem to consistently pretend like Saints don’t exist or show know knowledge of us. They used to be really good. Now that you mention it I really don’t know why I still read it

I quite like the mailboxes I guess as it is a bit like a written version of a radio phone in . Full of wack-a-doodles

Just looked elsewhere and daily Mail also gave Norwich a 4/5 for their window. But they gave Leeds the same.

And also didn’t give any 1s (even to Newcastle) or 5s

Just wondering what other people see - especially with regards to Norwich. It seems they get hyped up every time for making signings that will be useful in the championship. And it happens every time

Has anyone watched much of wolves this year? They don’t seem to have started well and they weren’t far ahead of us last year

They lost their manager and very experienced goalkeeper. They could be dragged into things. Or at least be closer than you’d think

Use the emoji button. That’s the smiley face one next to the picture one that looks like a mountain skyline.

The one you want is probably <doh>

I think a few mentioned them as potential surprise relegation candidates pre season. Big game next week.

I’d never heard of them before you mentioned them, sound like some **** website you’d see on Newsnow.

You talk about them like they were some encyclopaedia for football articles and analysis who have just started going downhill when I’d wager nobody else has heard of them/use them

What I've seen and heard of Wolves is that they play good football, look dangerous but haven't been scoring so far. They looked quite open at the back from what I saw of the Brentford game, but have only conceeded 5 so far this season (1 less than us). I think they have enough quality to see them through but too early to tell one way or the other really. Don't think it is a given for out first win of the season by any stretch even though it would be very welcome. Funny how we've gone from win or lose last season, to draw specialists so far this.
