I know Tom is arguing the laws but the laws are ridiculous. If McTominay had kicked Son in the knee with his heel as Son was running behind him nobody could say that McTominay 'used' his foot to kick him. Saying the same about a hand touching a players face because 'it's the face' doesnt make any sense at all. That was blatant simulation by any definition and Son was rewarded for his cheating by having a goal overturned. If Son acts appropriately and simply rubs his face then there would be no review and the goal would stand. He simulated an injury to affect the game. That's cheating.
He's still a really talented player -- as evidenced by his loan spell with Swansea -- he just isn't a PL player at this point in time. I'd be very surprised if Sheffield Utd sold him for a loss; they'd be far better off giving him consistent minutes and reestablishing his value.
It was a terrible move in hindsight for a player with his potential. In a better side (any suggestions) he would have had a good season I reckon. If a decent outfit comes in he would be wise to move on again IMO. The Wilder fallout might ripple through for a while yet at that club. I may be proven wrong. Hope so as I enjoyed their success last season.
Son has gone right down in my estimation - OGS was quite right to call him out for cheating. Moaninho has similarly gone further down in my estimation.
He’s lost the plot and needs to retire. According to MOTD2 it’s the first time in his managerial career that he’s lost 10 games in a season, and Tottenham aren’t that bad a side really.
Special one not so special, Spuds off form, Kane injured and Carabao cup Final on the horizon Could we get the 3 points we need to settle the nerves on Wednesday?
Watching the Newcastle v West Ham match, Allan Saint-Maximin looks a really good player .......I can see a bigger club coming in for him.
Newcastle deserve that, ****ing pathetic from them since going 2 up. Just sitting back against 10 men
