Just watched some highlights from the Arsenal game and there were 3 or 4 times when they got down the flanks and pulled the ball into very dangerous areas. I hope Saints have a good look at that for two reasons. 1. Arsenal won’t keep wasting these opportunities. 2. Learn from them. Crosses from the byline are one of our weakest areas and we could learn from the way the Arsenal strikers time their movement or the way they stop their run allowing the defenders to run on leaving space for the pull back.
I’m gutted Arsenal got beat. If they didn’t know they had problems before, they’ve just been highlighted even more. Other results have been poor but losing at home to Burnley will have some actions and focus id expect next few days. Didn’t really want them fired up. let’s hope the Board give him time and the players really can’t be arsed. They still have some weapons in that team.
Yeah would’ve preferred them to win 1-0 with an average performance than lose. They obviously have a lot of talent in their team so if they click they would beat us fairly comfortably, could probably say that about them all season though. Just hope their bad season continues on Wednesday
Did a huge rebuilding job at Liverpool and later did a good job at Villa, until illness forced him to step down. Leaves a big hole to fill in the Red Bull global football empire. RIP
I don't often comment on football managers , as I don't really know that much about the game . R.I.P Gerard , you always came across as a decent person .
The flip side is their confidence is at all time low. They've only got 2 days between games. I can't see how that's enough time for things to change.
