Lallana off injured.

 

Strange one that, he ran off fast enough. Perhaps he won’t be fit for our game either?

 

Looks like we made the right call with Lallana - he was apparently keen to move back to Saints but we wouldn't match wages or contract length of Brighton in case his injuries continued.

He was always going to be worth it if he stayed fit - sadly it looks like injuries are bringing his career to a premature end.

 

I think the subject of 5 substitutes might come up in Klopp’s post match interviews.

Pathetic decision.

I remember someone saying VAR would equate to a non contact sport in the penalty box.

 

So the rule now seems to be that if the ref looks at the screen, the decision is changed.

 

Well - that’s a complete joke. The ball was out of his control and going away from the goal. Two feet cane together ..... I despair at VAR ....

And I hate Liverpool!!

I think it was a foul. Soft yes, but a foul.

But no way, absolutely no way on this earth, do I want VAR getting involved instances like that. There were three decisions which got overturned in that match. But the only one which was a howler was the Mane offside. And as such, it's the only one that I want to see overturned.

Yeah agree with that. It was a foul so was always going to be given but it wasn't a clear error from the referee. Just cut out the clear mistakes and everyone will be happy.
