There’s no Virgil and we’ll cry if we want to, cry if we want to, cry if we want to, you would cry to if it happened to youoooooo
A bit questionable I thought. Right on the line but he got some of the ball. Mike Dean had already given the foul but VAR found it was on the line, so not technically a VAR pen.
... because they are socially conscious organisations or because they have realised that fans are telling them they can **** off ? Article?
Sky and BT have only released the fixtures they have selected for live coverage on their normal service. They've refused to advertise games on PPV.
I admit they're looking out for themselves but at the end of the day if it helps the scheme get scrapped then that's the main thing.
I'm not all surprised that they're both unhappy. It only takes one look at social media to see that a huge number of fans are criticising them both for such a ridiculous price, when it's actually the clubs making the money out of it. Sky and BT are (apparently) just taking enough to cover their additional costs, which is fair enough. But too many people aren't realising that. (Not that BT are particularly helping themselves by advertising their PPV games on two or three occasions during their normal live match! "Whilst Silva receives treatment I should remind you that next up, for £14.95, is Sheff Utd v Fulham.") As Tom says, sure Sky and BT are thinking of themselves, not us fans, when it comes to their criticism. But who cares? If it helps to get the price reduced, or scrapped altogether, then it's a good thing.
