All the best, but remember everything passes. I lost a job at a terrible time for me....so bad, I had a bad depressive episode. In retrospect, the job change was a positive thing in my life. You have succeeded in a competitive industry...shows you have a lot going for you...this will turn out to be just a bump in the road. All the best x
I think it is bad news, the top teams will always have better quality subs available, it reduces our youngsters a chance to get involved.
No way. Did you see City's benches during the post lockdown period. They could bring on 5 world class players. They could change half their outfield and bring on players just as good as the one's going off! If our youngsters are good enough they will get chances.
If they had a ruling where you could bring on 2 academy players to make the 5 then I would be on board. I'm glad they voted against it.
Same as they used to do in rugby in the amateur days, a doctor has to agree a player is injured too badly to continue playing.
Just been reading up on the changes to VAR next season, now that the PL will be following FIFA's "version" of VAR rather than the PL's own. - Pitch side monitor also to be used for goals and penalties (where there is subjectivity involved), rather than just red cards - VAR can order a penalty retake when a keeper is off their line (in addition to when there is encroachment, as before) - Whilst on the subject of encroachment, the test will be based on where a player is in contact with the ground (ie if they are merely leaning into the penalty box, that wouldn't count) - Linesmen will keep their flags down for offsides, where there is a goal-scoring opportunity (flag to then be raised once the opportunity is over/scored)
