I wouldn't be so sure. Mourinho will do exactly what he mocked Allardyce for doing and will play for a point, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got it.

Yep he will, like they did against Arsenal. Dirty spoiling tactics.

Good to see Chamberlain got two goals today. In an interview (prior to game at SMS) he said some nice things about Saints...saying it felt odd coming back as St Mary's feels like home and it was strange being on the wrong side during warm up. Was asked about why our academy was so successful...replied that youngsters are encouraged to express themselves so they are confident before they get deep into tactics. Also said that young players get their chance to train and mix with the first team which may not happen elsewhere. Mentioned how highly the players rate Mauricio, which helped stability after Nicola left.

You can tell he's a Southampton boy...so polite and nicely spoken.

I wouldn't be surprised if he went one better than that....

At the start of the season, before a ball had been kicked, I predicted Chelsea to win the league. I didn't do this because they are the best side, with the best players necessarily, but because of Jose. He just has that knack of getting the result more often than not. Take City against us this year at St Mary's: they couldn't get the better of our youth team that day yet a few weeks later, Jose twice out does us from losing or stalemate positions.

I am not sure how tonight will turn out and favour City at home, however I would not be surprised if Chelsea sneak it.

Hoping for a draw or Chelsea win tonight. It's hard for me to put into words how much I hate the Man City business model, and I'm not exactly a fan of Chelsea's. Go Arsenal.

Chelsea are actually far worse. City buy big players for the first team. Chelsea buy every good youngster going so others can't. Like De Bruyne look at how he went.

Yeah, but the money backing Chelsea is perhaps ever so slightly more sustainable. City is just some guy's hobby. And look at the name of their stadium. Repulsive.

I don't mind City, yes they spend crazy amounts of money but leaat they aren't player whores. Chelsea last season had 25 players out on loan. I just hate how they just buy anyone that some one else is interested in. You can't tell me they wanted Salah?

I read it, but haven't we been doing this for quite a few years? There was a thread the other day about Bristol City complaining about it.

I think the difference is, is that Saints are prepared to take in a number of players who have been dropped by other professional clubs. I wasn't aware that we were doing that.

Unfortunately, it's 16-19 year olds, so FLT and myself can put our boots back in the cupboard. Can't remember when I last put mine on.
