    Not sure that Spurs don't deserve top4. Clearly, they were held back by AVB, with his determination to play football the way he wanted to play it, rather than just play to win games. They are 3 points behind Liverpool. Just think where they could have been if Sherwood had taken the reins earlier.

    I certainly wouldn't oppose it. He might cost quite a lot, but damn I gained a lot of respect for him after his reaction to his goal against us.

    True. I think he realised it for the fluke that it was. Plus, he seemed to have empathy for his opposite number.

    Signs of life from Fulham though, nobody expected them to get anything from United or Liverpool, but they took a point off United and scared the crap out of the scousers.

    Yeah, although I agree that they should stick with him long term, Fulham was incredibly bad and tonight wasn't much good either.

    It's not his managerial skills that would bother me so much if I was a United fan, it's his "meh!" attitude followed by awkward silly grin, followed by talk of "rub of the green," that would irritate me. As it is being a Saints fan 3 points behind them in Feb, I find it amusing. It might be his way of dealing with the pressure, but it comes across as very lackadaisical.

    On another subject, make a note of West Ham's position in the PL - 11th. If they stick around, Twixter should be emerging from hibernation soon. <laugh>
