I keep thinking "okay, Man United is X points back of fourth, and they just lost to Stoke/Exeter/an U-8 side, but they'll start stringing together wins soon enough; CL is in reach if Liverpool slip up/Suarez kills and eats an opponent." But then they do this.
 
Suppose I shouldn't doubt Meulensteen, what with Fulham leading, but Tankovic looked pretty useful, and Bent as an isolated striker is generally high comedy.
 
Just the 46 crosses from United in that half. The most by any team in a full Premier League match this season is 51 (by Stoke v Liverpool).
