Manure v Palace: what sort if melt down would there be if United don't win this one? I can't see that, but funny it would be.

If Chelsea don't win at Everton and Liverpool win at Swansea, people will start talking Liverpool for the title.

God Merson annoys me! Complaining that he cant understand why we let Punch leave when its well documented we allowed him to go for personal reasons

To be fair I find it difficult to understand as well. I know what you mean though, he is one of the more ignorant pundits and boy is that saying something.

When it's for personal reasons one knows one is never going to find out the real answer. It could be a personal tragedy or mere circumstance. Good luck to him anyway. Wish he was still in our squad because he's a game changer.

Merson is a complete twerp. I would have thought that Le Tiss would chip in and clue him in though. Presumably he's not sitting next to him today..?

Someone on here a while ago said Jason p mum was terminally ill and wanted to be around the south London area so he was in close proximity to his mum.....saints said yes to a loan to help him do this.
Do we miss him? Yes
Is his family more important ? Yes

Punch was rated and given a new contract, then released quietly to join another club in the PL. No complaints from him or us would suggest, even if you didn't know, that there was a pretty strong reason for it. Miss Punch and wish him the best.

No one actually knows whether it was genuinely for "Personal Reasons". Pochettino said that Puncheon made a professional decision after the opening game, realising his playing time would be far more limited than last season. I find it hard to believe that commuting from Southampton to London would have been much of an issue.
