What a ridiculous time to sack your manager. They deserve to go down now. I just feel sorry for the fans.

All the Norwich fans I know (about five or six) wanted Hughton out. At the end of the season.

Don't see how this benefits them at all, moreso appointing the U18 coach.

The right time to sack Hughton would have been a couple months ago. Or at the end of the year. Six days before the game that may well decide their season, replaced by a youth team coach? That is not the right time.

That is one massive, massive call. Their season basically boils down to one match, their next match. Win it: survive. Lose it: go down. Pretty much.

So to make that someone's first game in charge....

Board are just covering their backs. Lose to fulham and you fans asked for him to go win and they are saved.

Norwich were down for me before this news. Now they're definitely down.

Glenn Roeder, former manager of Norwich City, sacked Neil Adams, who was then an U14 team coach - back in 2008.

Roeder on Adams: "They are people who will never manage a football club..."

Am I the only one who still sees them five points clear of the drop zone?

Their run in is by far the worst of the other teams down there, apart from Sunderland.

Sacking CH can't be worse than causally sliding towards relegation, good decision if you ask me, I expect to see a reaction in the next match. Five points, as Joe says, there's a buildable gap already. Its not all tactics, some times its pride & passion.

Do you reckon Norwich only sacked Hughton so they could get some attention on MOTD 2? <laugh>

Lose to Fulham and they'll be two points clear, with their final four games being Liverpool at home, Man U away, Chelsea away, Arsenal home. Any of the other contenders find a couple wins, they're down.

Get Di Canio in until the end of the season. Then look for a proper manager.
