Gary Neville on Liverpool vs Man City for the title: "It's like having the choice of two blokes to nick your wife!"

Masochist would be more accurate I think. Sadism is enjoying hurting others, masochism is enjoying hurting yourself.

This is rather pedantic anyway as I'm both.

Yes, I don't entirely see why Man Utd's possible (though highly unlikely) participation in the CL SFs should have anything to do with it. Would there really be much difference for them to moving their live Saturday game that weekend from Saturday evening to Saturday lunchtime?

But with Chelsea, I think it would fair enough. They are currently the first Super Sunday that weekend. Moving that back to Saturday to give them another 24 hours is fair enough in my book. And seeing as though that particular Super Sunday game happens to be Liverpool vs Chelsea, I somehow don't think that SKY would be too willing to simply not show it any more! (And you can't fit in three live TV games on the Saturday).

Then again, thinking about it now, with regard to my first point the answer might actually be that the reason why Utd's possible SF participation is a factor in this is not to help give them more time to prepare, but rather that their game is the easiest one to swap with Chelsea's as both are SKY games. But if Utd too were to get the SF, then that becomes a non-starter (it just switches the issue from Chelsea to Utd) and hence it has to be our game.

So yeah, it's not an issue for us. Does ANYONE think that both English teams will get through?!

Nah Carroll - only "threat" to Rickie's place on the plane.

Very, very rare that I ever want West Ham to win these days, but this is one of those rare times.

    Bye bye Sunderland.

Spurs away, Everton home, City away, Chelsea away.

Forget about the final four games that Sunderland have to follow that (three very nice looking home games, and a trip to Old Trafford), they will almost certainly be gone before that given those next four games. Only the ineptitude of others over this next month can save them unless the have a miracle 40 minutes now.

If Swansea don't want him back, I'd take Ki as a squad player for us in a heartbeat. Constantly impresses me.
