Liverpool and Atletico, to show conclusively that there is no glass ceiling. If only Roma had kept it up as well.

Just so predictable. If it hadn't been for Clyne's slip, this could have so easily been us against Spurs last week.

Tim Sherwood said he didn't bother watching the DVD of the last time they played Liverpool as it was "irrelevant" and "scared" him.

Imagine, if we'd won our two games against Tottenaham as we should have, we would be 6. on the table, ahead of them and Man United.

As much as this season was great, I feel it could've easily been much better.

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/how-financial-fair-play-regulations-3179115

"The wage cap is pretty damn complicated, to be frank. There are lots of little nuances to it, but essentially it means that any club in the Premier League with a wage bill of over £52m (which is all bar 7 clubs) can "only" increase their wage bill by another £4m per year for the next 3 seasons.

    Or £75k a week."

Despite sitting up in 8th, I am correct aren't I to say that we are one of those seven?

(Not exactly the best FFP article in the world, but then that goes without saying)

All Southampton players now have a duty to make sure that Man City don't catch Liverpool. I'm sure that will be the first thing on their minds next week.

Seems like the time to mention: credit to the MOTD2 guys from last year, I seem to remember them having us and Newcastle 8th/9th, in some order.
