More great requests! Check out a sneak preview at some of your suggestions that will be played at Ashton Gate this evening: please log in to view this image https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/live-bristol-city-v-stoke-city/
You won’t find a single post from me about his time at his current club. He’s gone, I only comment on his time at City, unlike some..
I believe we are in the same camp then because I don't think I have made a single comment about him except complimentary since he joined his new club, I also only make comments about him at City and his history and I won't progress that discussion.
I'll take the 3 points thank you very much, but we were extremely lucky. The Massengo incident was a definite penalty (much stronger than our own handball shout earlier) and 9 times out of 10 those efforts that hit our woodwork would have gone in.
OCCASSIONALLY THE ODD BIT OF LUCK! however must not let it cloud over the true state of play we were a team hell bent on defending a 1 goal lead! Saturday we need to take the initiative and have at least 45-50% not 31- 37% we had 30 mins+ of opportunity to score and 60+ mins of defending ....
Hate to say I told you so, but it seems Williams is not available Sat, I realise we beat Stoke, but that’s not really the point, once a week seems much more sensible until he’s back to fitness.
apparently nothing to do with his previous injury, NP in the post match interview stated he is "suffering" complete annoyance got over the past 12 -18months problem fine , then falls awkwardly and is being assessed over next few days. so not really a told you so but will get a rest anyways!
Didn’t suggest it’s related to his previous injury, the point is his general fitness is going to take a time to return because he’d been out for so long. The way to get that back is to ease him back into game time. I was suggesting two games so close together would cause an issue, apparently I was right.
wiz put up NP's interview .. states nothing to do with previous it was totally an awkward landing nowt to do with fitness
When your fitness level drops you become more susceptible to those kinds of injuries, when fully fit you are less likely to get little niggles. That’s why after a long lay off it’s best to ease back in slowly, no amount of exercising, or training, or even friendliest is a substitute for actual game time. I didn’t suggest it was linked to the original injury more his lack of game time, or general match fitness.
