We have spent £45m or so haven’t we? I don’t think Leicester have spent close to that yet This is the issue with using loans to get promoted (though I do think it is the best strategy)
I don’t think you should feel guilty about that. Signing them just takes us to level with where we were. We need improvements.

Yeah but in PSR world they count as £38m worth of signings, it seems like the figure we are able to spend wasn’t too much higher than that. I said during last summers window that loans were the way to go with getting out of the Championship and we should bank the vast majority of the money made from sales last summer. That was with the assumption that we would/could spend it this summer after promotion when we would be able to attract a better player due to being back in the PL, it clearly doesn’t work like that or hasn’t worked like that at least
I would argue that that squad was very poorly managed that season and should've been good enough to stay up, the players were completely lost by the end. This squad has a better identity and is being managed well imo but i'm not denying that we need quality additions in key areas, let's see who comes in before the window ends. The loans are going to be particularly critical.
