CB must be an absolute priority at the moment. Cedric is a better RB than most of our CBs are in their position
If we don't get 2 replacement CB's for the starting 11 then the transfer window would have been a bit of a failure. I fully expect us to address this position and progress from where Ralph got us to last season.
The problem with getting a CB (or any player for that matter) is that they need to be markedly better than what we have. I'm sure the club is trying, but sometimes things don't come off...hence I can see why Ralph is intent on working with what he's got....he will be aware that sometimes things just don't happen. I think we need to be pragmatic as well...not getting a new CB doesn't mean no one thought we needed one or that the club didn't look. And of course there is still time left before the window closes.
Let's save people the bother of signing in, shall we? All the action from day two Ralph Hasenhüttl on pre-season Southampton players head into the mountains Wrong country, but I swear I can hear the opening bars to The Sound of Music movie.
There is absolutely no way we are getting 2 CBs - one at most if someone we rate at an appropriate value comes up (Signing two basically destroys the morale of any that stay. If you only sign one then until the first game they will all think they are the other one that is good enough.) You hardly ever see teams completely replace entire sections of the team in one go I guess what I am saying is by your definition this window will be a failure. So that removes some stress about whether it will or won’t be!
That video reminds me of the team's visit to Switzerland early on in the Leihberr era...they looked a lot more stressed in the Swiss trip...either they are fitter now or the mountains are flatter
What is different about previous years is that they are all smiling - even Ryan. Not sure why Pierre though rolls his shorts up.... I've got a good feeling about this year.
If your shorts get sweaty they can feel too clammy and it feels good to pull them up and allow cooler air to the muscles. That's my guess anyway.
Looking at the Austrian footage, they are going start the Season supremely fit or totally knackered. I saw a message saying that Sam McQueen's ACL op didn't do the job, he has to go back for more.

I wonder if there will be a stream for our friendly on Sunday? Hardly any decent sport to watch tomorrow
