Thought Jonathon Pearce was embarrassing. The way he was carrying on suggested there was no point England even going, as if England had befell some major disaster. It’s fine to suggest it’s going to be tricky, but he sounded like we’d lost (and more) already. Prick. I don’t rate England that highly at all, but I think they’ll get through this group stage and I’m pleased that England are in quite an interesting group. Worst part is the times. I’m surprised European TV are allowing this to happen. Anyone know how many games are at 2am etc? One pair round of group games?
Very tough group! We'll do well to get through, I think it'll be a 3 horse race with Costa Rica looking to spoil the party. I think Germany's group is one of the hardest! I wish we would have got group E though, what a piss easy group!
Cheers. So do you mean that from the 8 groups , just one fixture is at 2am - meaning 8 matches in total are at 2am in the whole first round?
Too much squealing. Its ok not great but ok. Good draw when we get through to the next round. If Spain or Brazil **** up they'l play each other in the knockout stage? If not Holland V Brazil that'l be a cracker
I think it seems like a really boring group (the Switzerland group) We'd probably struggle and just qualify. This way, it's death or (sort of) glory
Uruguay have quality forwards, but the rest of the team is average. Italy will be well organised, but are not great.
Fixtures: 15th June 2014 - Manaus - 02:00 GMT England vs Italy 19th June 2014 - Sao Paulo - 19:00 GMT Uruguay vs England 24th June 2014 - Belo Horizonte - 16:00 GMT Costa Rica vs England
**** me. Worra bastard. The group stages are my favourite part so at least that's the only one I suppose
That's rubbish, if one of them finishes runners up in their group and the other wins theirs they would play each other in the Round Of 16. If they both won their groups they wouldn't meet until the final.
