Napoli have a track record of demanding absurd fees for their players and somehow those players not getting annoyed by it. That and it being mid season and them being leading Serie A and I don't expect them to let anyone go When I say track record I think I am mainly thinking of Koulibaly where I think they consistently were demanding 80-100m for him every year until he hit 31 with one year left on his contract and sold him for 33m (and Chelsea apparently already want rid)
If we are looking to get anyone from Napoli (not that we could) it should be Kvaratshkelia or however it’s spelt. He is going to be battling it out for Ballon d’Or with Mbappe for the next decade
True but only if we agree to sell or put a relegation release clause in - which perhaps we don't want to do. Or maybe he thinks it is a risk as it will be harder to impress playing for a struggling team. Either way, plenty of reasons for him not to want to join us
Hopefully today's result shows some prospective acquisitions that we're not a sinking ship and helps Rasmus to sell the move and get some more quality into the squad.
Yes, in a dream world I'd take Kvaradona and Raspadori, and Anguissa as the guy next to Lavia. They have even got a tune out of Ndombele.
I gather Breckin is more of an attacking playmaker so probably isn’t a like for like replacement for Diallo / AMN
Fair enough, Can't say I know much about him just going off Transfermarket. Looks like he would be a free if we did.
Agreed. On the flip side, I hope that it doesn't suggest that we've permanently turned a corner and as such we can wait until the summer for that extra quality. We still very much need it this month.
