I'm not saying it would be guaranteed but across 133 league games for Saints he has 15 goals. 133 games equates to 3.5 seasons so that works out at 4 goals a season. Bearing in mind that I reckon the majority of those games were off the bench (don't have the exact stats for that unfortunately) then if that was to be turned around to be a majority of starts then he wouldn't be far off 7 a season.
Fair. If it was all doom and gloom I wouldn't be spending a **** tonne on fuel, time sat in roadworks on the M3 forever and generally wasting my time going tonight if there wasn't a sliver of happy clapper in me. Hope springs eternal!
Not only that, no one links the midfield and attack better than him and we are a much more productive team offensively with him on the pitch.

We would be planning coming over for a couple of games, seeing family and friends travelling by train but the current situation makes that pretty well impossible. I have to say I have complete sympathy for those on the picket lines. .

Does anyone think we should just sack off this window and prepare for the Championship? We could pay over the odds for players who might not stay or have low sell on value.
