Had to avoid social media and internet until I could watch the recording. Thought we played well until the final third but thought Isak made a difference. He could open the game up for us like Rashford does for them. My favorite was Big Joe defending Burn's honor against Antony. He showed the little rat faced bastard what happens when you try to be too cute. Not as bad as Guthrie on ***an, but the lesson was there.

Positive for me is that the squad, as it normalises, is benig exposed and the task of building has been laid bare. As soon as we got past Isak - who looked easily our best player - it was clear from the quality of subs we couldn’t win that game. The season ending up as a “what could have been” is more positive long term for the club. I think the investors will look at this Summer as transformative.

I put "no" on the "will Newcastle win the cup" thread so I wouldn't be bullied by Chaos!

Fans did us proud and as someone else said - shows the board how much work is to be done to be winning these Cups.

Still trying to process the whole weekend to be honest. Despite the loss it was amazing, The fans were brilliant (99% of them anyway) .... from clearing up in Trafalgar Square to cheering until the 95th minute. Yes it was a bit deflating to lose but the trophies will come and it will be even sweeter.

We left just on the final whistle and was surprised to see lots of Man Utd fans leaving before the trophy presentation, please let's never be like that.

Hope you still managed to enjoy the experience. Hopefully there'll plenty more finals to come.

I expect every Toon fan will want to stay behind to watch the first time we get to lift a cup under the new owners. The place will erupt. <cheers>

Had 2 alleged fans behind me who moaned and moaned all game and left with with about 12mins to go

Why bother, just why bother going if all you do is ****ing moan and leave early
So wanted to punch one of them
And tell them to do one

Everyone else were fantastic

Loved seeing half of Wembley black and white.

Glad the owners were there to see what we desperately need

Think in another few years we will be back there
