Please, no discussions just pass on your constructive advice & comfort to our knee jerking poodles if only to help them through their difficult time.

Be the shoulder they need, be nice & show them, more than anything else, you care about their sad plight.

Just to clarify a few things.

Poodling is all about how you conduct yourself, how you respect yourself & how you present yourself publicly.

A poodle is a complete wuss, a tosspot who acts feminine when he isn't really gay. A neurotic **** with a high sense of entitlement. They're usually very skinny & have never, ever, heard the word "No" in their lives. In the unforeseen circumstance that they do, then they’ll be reduced to shaking neurosis akin to that of an inbred puppy dog. In any confrontational situation, they become timid, and are likely to 'bite' out of irrational fear alone. *

Calling for Bruce to be sacked isn't poodling. Suggesting the team haven't played too well isn't poodling.

Posting ****, such as, “**** d do another loss” as a reaction to being drawn against Arsenal in the Cup, or " **** off you piece of **** ****s. Couldn't even get the ball up top in added time you **** bastards" or "**** **** ****ing ****. Your all **** ****s" during the game at Turf Moor or "Their's no point in watching this at all now, 1nil down negative line up", just 20 minutes into the game at Old Trafford are the irrelevant reactions of spoilt, arsewipe poodles, who deserve to be outed as poodles, poodles that deserve a slap & their faces smashed violently into reality.

    * Not necessarily all my own words.

I don't necessarily agree 100% with your definition of the P-word, but I wholeheartedly endorse the sentiments.

    From the Oxford dictionary:

    Definition of poodle in English:
    NOUN

1.1British A person or organization who is overly willing to obey another:
the council is being made a poodle of central government
    MORE EXAMPLE SENTENCES

Now I would say that better describes those few shallow individuals who are going around throwing out the 'poodle' accusation at anyone they don't agree with.

my idea of a poodle is more akin to someone who follows and obeys authority and the authoritative figure ( in this case Steve Bruce and his plans)
so in this instance an opposite to whats getting the P treatment here .

EG - Blair was rightly considered a poodle to Bush poodle

Oh dear. You really haven't grasped it, have you?

It's not the dictionary definition we're talking about; it's the term that was given to those yapping little ****s who start pissing and moaning when things don't go right with the team.

I can remember where and when the term - in this context - was first coined. You obviously can't.

The term is wrong, you are wrong. The Oxford dictionary trumps all. That's all there is to it.

And you, by definition, are a poodle. <cheers>

The point of insulting someone as a Poodle should be to call someone who backs the managers decisions regardless .
To applaud every errant substitution , to cheer on every tactical decision and hold him as the messiah .

thats a Poodle in the context of a football fan , not someone who gets on the back of the manager when the going gets tough - i suggest you chose another animal or breed of dog
