We use to refer to gun toting Americans as bomb happy bastards.They are advertised on the telly, shops in the street and gun shows.I wonder why people get shot?Guns are big business over here.They wiped out the Indians,why stop there?

It's easy to say "Oh, that was 50 years ago and things were different then"
Yes, even in the late '70's / early '80's there were words and terminologies used and broadcast that would not be acceptable today. However, I defy anyone to remember that the words and actions attributed to Farage would have been ok, even then.

Funnily enough, I remember playing cricket against Dulwich College (I went to a South London Grammar School) and my friend and teammate was singled out for serious racial abuse from 3 lads on the boundary. He was from St Lucia... Maybe the school itself had more of a problem?

And one other thing...if Farage was doing this at 13, I'd love to see a journo do a deep dive into his family. Maybe Chris Mason could fit it in when he has stopped critiquing Reeves schooldays chess prowess?
