Since 1996 council workers can be put on sickness monitoring procedures if: 1. They have 5 days or more in any 12 month period (and this is on a rolling basis) Or 2. Have more than 3 periods of sick off in a 12 month period...even if the the number of days off was less than 5 in total (again on a rolling basis). That was brought in under a Tory government so tbh Johnson can go **** himself
