So 100,000 new positive COVID tests in a single day - highest so far in pandemic. Should we accept that this is an illness we all have to live with which will be worse and winter and do little about (like Boris)? Or should we be very worried that these numbers are very high and will get a lot higher if we do little - and which point COVID is likely to cause a lot of problems for us we may struggle to cope with?
What really sticks out for me is that there's only a 62% vaccination rate in London ...mainly because I'm reasonably sure that it's people working zero hours contracts who can't take a couple of days off to have their jab
