'disgraceful act of criminality' Yep - that's exactly what it is - but will it change anything? Opposition parties threatened not to participate in the new 'Standards Committee'. If they want to instigate change they need to withdraw from Parliament altogether at the very least.
Finally Demonstrates the need for PR, Tories still the largest party and the Greens get just the 1 MP on 10% of the vote.
Green: 11%. One seat. Lib Dems: 9%. 18 seats. SNP: 5%. 56 seats. Hmm.... We all know that the Greens won't get anywhere near that at an actual election, though.
As you know, you can't include the SNP in that comment, they get 50% in the seats they actually contest. But the Green/Lib Dem comparison is shocking if true. I think they both would struggle to get any seats, but this is distorted by local issues in some places.
Also interesting that the move is Tory to Green - Labour staying where they were. Obviously could be Tory to Labour and Labour losing support to Greens. Some of that survey was pre the latest shenanigans, so hopefully some momentum will build next week with the Tories support fading away further.
They're building up to ****can Bodger, but they want to chuck as much crap as they can on him first. It's been coming for a while.
