Just ****ing embarrassing! The Mets credibility has completely eroded and as an Organisation they are now nothing more than Johnson's stormtroopers. There must be many decent Met officers questioning their career choices. This is not what they signed up for.
Not a fan of Alistair Campbell, but his article today comparing Southgate & Johnson is a good read. This extract in particular... "That is why I find it sickening to see a government largely responsible for the need for many of the causes and campaigns the players so generously support try to jump aboard the bandwagon. A government whose now disgraced and departed health secretary Matt Hancock called on footballers to take a pay cut to show they cared about others in the pandemic. Never forget that.Boris Johnson the man who once confused football with rugby even as he played it. Whose reaction to the pain of campaigners fighting for justice for 96 Liverpool fans killed in at a match in 1989 was to criticise the city’s ‘victim culture.’ " Finding out about the charitable work of not only Rashford, but also Kane, Maguire & Henderson is uplifting. The 'media' all too keen to spew vitriolic often racist bullshit.
Not something that somebody with an unknown number of bastard offspring should have on their office's front door
What's she actually trying to say and what's with the added background music? Is she opposing the law being introduced, which I'd agree with or calling for it to be applied more broadly, which I wouldn't? No blasphemy laws, ta. Antiquated bullshit like that can go straight in the bin.
Just finished reading 'Why we kneel, How we rise' by Michael Holding, the Cricket legend. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1398503231/?tag=not606-21 Never publicly recommended any literature, fiction or non-fiction, in my life before, but this should be essential reading. Should be curriculum text. Extremely painful and enlightening in equal measure. For anyone dumb or racist enough to boo England players kneeling, or defending the honour of slave-owners this may make little difference. But for many people, this book will open eyes and identify the true enormity of the problem.
So here's a horrifying thought: were England to win, what's stopping De Pfeffel from calling a snap election and getting re-elected on a large majority off the wave of nationalism? COME ON ITALY
Yeah. A couple really say far more about the reviewers! WTAF - 'Propaganda' being the only word of the review! I was expecting it to be signed by Mr A B Johnson, Westminster.
Quote of the Day: 'The only time I ever want to see Boris Johnson with 3 lions on his chest is in Longleat Safari Park!'
Answer me one question. Why would a government call a snap election with 3 years left to run on their current term and absolutely no chance of losing another 4 years after that?
