    And that is the terrifying question: why are so many people content to not give a ****?

    It's one thing in a country where corruption is so ingrained that people knuckle under (I know people who have some real horror stories about working in Thailand, for example) but in less than twenty years we've gone from David Blunkett having to fall on his sword for fast-tracking a visa for his former mistress' nanny to a constant stream of corruption from De Pfeffel, Patel, Hancock, Truss and others and if it isn't ignored by the press entirely it's swept under the rug PDQ

    The Jewish media in the UK (by which I mean JC, Jewish News and the like, not some silly conspiracy) have criticised the connection repeatedly down the years.
