    Starmer out! <grr>
Two ****ing goons in a row? What's the Labour Party doing?
He is from South London, so perhaps it's not surprising.

I mean, if there's anyone that agrees or is content to live in a state that's built on ethnic cleansing, creates internal refugees by forcing indigenous people out of their homes, kills and tortures innocent people, has people at the very top of the government freely admitting their disgust and pure hatred for anyone Palestinian, then yes, that person is a scumbag.

It's his home country. Living there doesn't suggest support for their leader.
I don't think that either of us supports Boris or agrees with every aspect of British history.

He's very smart to have been silent on what he knows is a divisive issue, but silence is no good either. Him captaining his national team and playing for several local Israeli clubs doesn't suggest to me that he's sympathetic to what's going on there. Actions say a lot, too.

British colonialism was abhorrent. But right now, you don't have high-profile members of the government that openly admit to their disdain for a persecuted group of people without facing some form of consequence. You don't get punished for that in Israel. The UK also isn't allowing settlements to be built at the expense of an ethnonational group and blockading them by land, sea and air.

Most footballers are silent on political issues across the world. That isn't an endorsement.
Playing in and for his own country says absolutely nothing about his politics.

Johnson's disdain for persecuted groups of people has been pretty consistent throughout his life.
He's been made Prime Minister. I suspect that's not the kind of consequence that you meant.
He's also highly supportive of Israel. Should you be expected to vacate the country because of this?

The problem it's not just any country, is it? It's an illegal one.

If you can find me any member of the cabinet or any high-profile politician who has said things like this about an ethnonational group - in public - without facing consequences or accountability, let me know:

Rabbi Ali-Dehan: "Palestinians are beasts, they are not human"
Miri Regev: "I am happy to be a fascist"
Ayelet Shaked: "They should go, as should the the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise more (little) snakes will be raised there."
Moshe Yaloon: "The Palestinian threat harbours cancer-like attributes that have to be severed. There are all kinds of solutions to cancer. Some say its necessary to amputate organs, but at the moment, I am applying chemotherapy."

I am fully aware of Johnson's comments about black people, Asians, Muslims & poor people. Frankly, it says more about the state of society that he's Prime Minister. Again though, he's not openly and directly targeting an ethnonational group of people by literally doing anything he can to stop them from existing. He's more conniving and tries to be more subtle with his policies. Even if it doesn't work, he attempts to be deceptive. The Likud government don't and haven't historically.

Should I be expected to vacate this country? I probably wouldn't be here if the Brits hadn't ransacked, stole and wiped out the prosperity of my country, forcing my grandparents to move. The way I see it, me living here is a consequence of my original country being pillaged. I didn't come here at the expense of others being forced to move, I don't get exclusive rights over others and I can't let people from 'back home' just come and live here too merely because they identify being part of a particular group, even if they have no ties here. Unlike...well, you know where I'm going with this.

But it's not. You think it should be, but it isn't.
And Boris supports all of this. He's firmly in their camp. He's written about it this week, in fact.
Probably not the best argument to make when talking about Israelis.
As you believe that they should leave, where exactly would you have them go?

You're disagreeing with Israeli policies as a way of criticising Israelis themselves.

It’s not just me though. There are even Israeli historians and scholars who have effectively said the same thing.

I’m not denying he supports it. I’m saying it’s more subtle than anything the Israelis have said and have continued to get away with on Palestinian soil.

I have no issues with them being in the Middle East. What I have an issue with how they’ve claimed their land, the constant expansion of settlements and the exclusivity of basic human rights, of which many Israelis support because they’ve been indoctrinated to believe their entitlement. The countries that let them down should have been the ones to fix the mess they created. The UK deciding to place them in Palestine without any consultation from those already living there was wrong.

I explained at the end what the difference was between me living in the UK and Israelis living and enjoying to reside there. Also, if you can just ignore the government and IDF bombing and killing humans who identity differently on your doorstep, then that kind of says a lot.

Who is this Mike Lee, who appears to be opposed to democracy? He's a Republican Senator from Utah. <doh>
He's also got a case of the rona, as he's a bit of an idiot and he went round hugging people at a rally.

The position itself is a disgrace. Fake American bullshit, so the Tories can hide and spout propaganda simultaneously.
That they've hired that hack is no surprise.
