Political journalists boycott the No10 briefing after PM's aide tries to ban selected reporters, this is just mirroring Trump's America , just hope they stick by their conviction

It's not a coincidence that Johnson is copying Trump.

You know what would be even better? Their bothering to actually hold the Tories to account at some point in the last ten years

    These things are cyclical.
Every so often there is a lurch to the right in mainstream politics, which is usually represented by an upsurge in nationalism, illiberalism and authoritarianism.
We have all that in our society now - despite our claims of inclusivity and tolerance.
It usually ends with a war.

Sometimes it can lead to revolution

Sadly, the British populace are unlikely to do this as we've been taught that being docile and emotionally stunted are ideal if you want to demonstrate the ideal of having a Stiff Upper Lip

It says it all that de Pfeffel claims to idolise Churchill, yet was quick to boot Churchill's grandson out of the cabinet for not mindlessly agreeing with everything he says

Can the BBC stop hiring idiots, please?
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-51382245

"The president attacked Democratic proposals to abolish private health insurance", except they're not, are they?
Have we abolished it? Has Canada? ****ing nonsense.
A universal healthcare system doesn't remove the demand for private healthcare entirely. It's just scaremongering.

Says it all the BBC's default position is to say that universal healthcare should be resisted, probably because Matt Hancock told them what the Tory plans are...

I think politicians in both countries, darn it,in all countries should help the people instead of trying to put the boot in! Not many politicians have to pay for THEIR health care I bet...…!?
Moscow Mitch McConnell is trying to get involved in the health care..."for the good of the people". This after receiving Lord knows how much from mine owners with the result that Kentucky mines are pretty much closed and miners out of work.In some cases these miners are owed pay which they don't seem as though they are going to get.

They're doing what they've been paid to do. Not from their salary from the people though, unfortunately.

Trump refuses to shake Pelosi's hand so she rips up his speech.
I wonder how much his previous wives suffered......and his present one. All well paid,no doubt, for their silence!
