The most obnoxious part of this election so far is trying to keep up with all the lies - which the BBC continue to make more difficult as they add plenty of their own What's interesting if you watch the two clips back-to-back isn't just that the laughter is edited out, but the way the proven liar says "vital" is completely different: in the live feed there's a wobble to his voice as he says it, yet in the edited version it's much clearer and firmer - which begs the question whether they dropped in him saying "vital" from another time, or whether they just had the proven liar re-record his answer afterwards Of course, Rob Burley's saying we all imagined it, we shouldn't question the BBC, and by the way where do we live so they can send some men around to test your commitment to Conservatism?
He repeated himself after the audience stopped laughing and applauding the question, which the BBC edited out. He goes from, "I think it's... I think it's absolutely vital", to, "I think it's absolutely... vital". The BBC then lied about it and lied about lying about it.
This is the thing that gets me: they describe RT as a "state broadcaster" - but the definition of state media reads to promote the regime in a favourable light, vilify opposition to the government by launching smear campaigns giving skewed coverage to opposition views, or act as a mouthpiece to advocate a regime's ideology. How does that not sound exactly like the BBC?
That's what the BBC does. It sounds extreme and ridiculous when I say it, but it happens. The BBC still produces or airs good programme material but when it comes to the news it supports and promotes the status quo. In Scotland it is even more apparent because Scotland itself is out of line with the UK norm or should I say the English norm.
"I have a 450-page document that proves that Boris Johnson wants to sell off the NHS to US bidders" - Jeremy Corbyn "Yeah, but what about the unproven allegations of antisemitism that we're hoping to drag out for a few more days?" - some BBC bod That's barely an exaggeration of the exchange, either
Apparently this was a real conversation at the BBC "Boss, shouldn't we be reporting about Boris Johnson no-showing a debate on climate change that every other party leader is appearing on?" "Nonsense! We have the footage of him eating scones, and THAT is the story we are running."
The communication workers union CWU were at the court of appeal today , 6 hrs of evidence presented and thrown out after 2 mins of deliberations by judge , the vote was 97 % in favour of industrial action and rejected on the word of 1 royal mail manager The law is an ass,a idiot sir
It's not an idiot, it's doing what it's there to do under our current government: protect the interests of the rich.
Plebs should know their place. Hardly surprising that his son thinks that the working class are scum, really.
