At least Comedy Central aren't deciding to withhold several million dollars in winnings from them, unlike Blizzard are doing with that one Hearthstone streamer which they're definitely not doing because they're **** scared of losing billions from the Chinese esports market...

They also sacked two commentators who were just there when the streamer mentioned Hong Kong. Lovely company.

A pair of Trump donors have been charged with violating campaign finance laws

I can't think how anyone could think they look untrustworthy...

Trump's crooked dad kept him out of the services so what would he care? Bone spurs! UP THE SPURS!
Trump's grandad ran away from Bavaria to the USA when they wanted him to serve. When he returned (when peace had returned!) Bavaria kicked him out

Apparently the Trump organization hasn't reimbursed 6 cities for his rallies. This includes man hours for police etc to protect the s.o.b. But he has a reputation for borrowing and not paying back!

Looks like Extinction Rebellion are still having trouble telling the difference between protesting and being colossal dickheads...

Perhaps they'd have done better to try to block the plane taking our beloved PM to the European summit!

I'm trying to think how this makes them look more idiotic
a.) Extinction Rebellion say we should use public transport...then try and block public transport
b.) A lot of people using Canning Town at that time in the morning are on zero hours contracts, so if they're late to work they don't get paid - so some twat tap dancing on top of the train is not going to get an enthusiastic response
c.) Extinction Rebellion's response being to try and compare themselves to Rosa Parks

I think it's very sad, to be honest. Such an important issue, and so well publicised by the movement hitherto. Now a misjudged action could undermine all their other estimable efforts.

To be honest, everything Extinction Rebellion do undermines their efforts, because their efforts only serve to piss people off due to being so ill-judged

For a counter-example, take those who were blockading an ICE facility in New York state a couple of months ago...who one employee who worked there responded to by driving right up to them, stopping for about a second, then gunning the engine of his pickup truck and plowing into them, because that's how sane and rational people negotiate. They weren't inconveniencing anyone other than those working at the ICE facility as they were blocking the entrance road, so their actions would only affect ICE directly - while Extinction Rebellion's actions consistently fail to affect those they are protesting against but do directly affect literally everyone else in a three mile radius, and that's not going to gain support for their cause, just as picking some public school boys with condescending attitudes to speak for them isn't going to help - even when Adam Boulton's being more of a tosser than usual when interviewing them

Please can you clarify: what does ICE stand for? Presumably not the Institute of Culinary Education in New York?
