All except the 'Corbyn-led' bit is fine with me. The control that Milne and others have over him is too dangerous for words. You can guess who made the decision to reinstate Williamson for example. Any leader who makes that call yet allows Hoey to stay in the party is not fit to run a bath let alone a coalition.
Corbyn can't kick out Hoey, let alone any other MP - the local parties have to hit them with a No Confidence vote, but just because they lose a No Confidence vote doesn't mean they're immediately removed as MP, as demonstrated by the fact that Kate Hoey, Gavin Shuker, Joan Ryan and Chrie Leslie have all lost No Confidence votes yet none were immediately removed as the No Confidence vote is merely the first part of the process Also, far more importantly, a party leader being able to boot out any MP who doesn't fall in line is not a path any party should go down because at best you're going to get outrage (faux or otherwise) that Corbyn booted out the likes of Hoey or Margaret Hodgeshite because something something Marxism - at worst that's outright dictatorship That's why, at present, the only way for a Labour MP to be immediately deselected is if they are convicted of a crime, as happened with Fiona Onasanya in Peterborough which triggered the recent by-election
Well, fair enough - that's more a sad indictment of the Party then. But his lack of anything approaching leadership over the past 3 years does little to inspire confidence that he could lead a national coalition. But if Labour don't sort out their position on Brexit once and for all then they face being irrelevant as an electoral force.
