First past the post would make our parliament look pretty different if the votes were replicated in a GE.

A bit like this...Tories wiped out totally

That wouldn't happen, though. Lib Dems with more than twice the Tory vote, who also lose to the Greens?
The Brexiters all voted for The Cult of Personality in this election. They won't in a GE.
Lots of people voted for the Greens and Lib Dems as a Remain vote. That won't repeat in a GE.

So the Tories once again get utterly annihilated at the polls, so of course the BBC's take is "Labour had a bad night"...

So that's "educate" and "inform" out the window, how's "entertain" holding up?

    The "what if" fallacy.
Ask citizen May how that partly worked out for her in 2017.

Sorry, with respect you cannot possibly say that all Brexiters (32% of the votes) were cast because of "cult of personality"!

    True

You just have to swap out the l for an n and then remove of "of personality" part

All the stats I watched live effectively showed the Farage voter proportion as :

    'UKIP like-for-like transfer' + 'bonus'

where 'bonus' = voters transferring from other incumbent parties.

The composition of the 'bonus' voters (usual Labour/Tory etc) we will not
know, unless the exit / after polls ask(ed) this question.

The party literally doesn't have any policies. It's less substantial than UKIP.

Lib Dem Lite. Absolutely pointless and as dead as Tommy Robinson's deposit.

Can't wait to see the looks on their faces when their MPs beg for their old jobs back

In a few cases, it might be imprinted on the door that's slammed in said faces...

The CHUK vote share was so bad, you can barely put a *** paper between them and UKIP. Says it all.

To me, it's a clear indication of how disconnected they are from public opinion, despite what they say. If their MPs had the balls to call bye elections in their constituencies as they should, they'd get destroyed.

    Won't hold my breath.

Getting like pre 1940. Some said "war!" Some said "surrender!". Who's right?
