Until I see Harry Rednapp winding down his car window and being quizzed on Brexit, I'm pretty sure that the UK and EU won't be close to signing a deal. It's going to go down to the wire on deadline day.

It should sort out immigration issues though because no one in their right mind would want to come here.

Anyone else think Theresa May and Jean Claude Junkie are having an affair? They have been seeing a lot of each other recently. And all of this talk about 'strengthen and improve' and 'withdrawal' makes me think that they are having unprotected sex and he is using Viagra.

But honest, he's told Mrs May that nothing has changed legally, and basically to go and do one. Expect the Prime Ministers resignation as Conservative Party Leader before 11:00 tomorrow morning. Possible just after returning from the Palace advising the Queen that there will be a general election.

You honestly think this pig-headed disaster of a PM will resign? I'd give it a 10% chance.

She's a goner mate, but on the bright side, it's better than being a gooner.

Another teenage girl stabbed this afternoon. The government will solve youth unemployment at this rate.

What is the UK coming to?

I'm beginning to sound like my grandparents.

Of course there's no link between 21,000 less police on our streets and a rise in people being stabbed on the streets, and you'd be a fool and a communist to make one...

I'm sure that affects it, but it's not the root cause. Allowing organised crime gangs to control the trade in illicit drugs is probably the major cause of violence on the streets. They use young kids who are impressionable and expendable to carry out turf wars for them. These kids in turn form gangs who try to control the market.

The solution is quite radical to some, end the prohibition and as people are not going to stop taking drugs, allow Medical Doctors and Licenced Pharmacists to control the heavy ones with licenced outlets controlling the supply of cannabis. Then purity and strength could be controlled as well. A few countries have tried it with encouraging results.

The last alcohol dear to shoot another alcohol dear was probably Al Capone, during a prohibition.

There's a grown up discussion to be had on what we expect from our police and prison systems and what we want from a limited resource.

We're not sufficiently grown up to have it.
