    Votes rigged in the USA.
North Carolina was fixed after the candidates son told him what he was doing was illegal.
He dismissed his son's opinion as arrogant and naive.
    He's an attorney general.

Robert Mueller has filed his sentencing recommendations for Paul Manafort. It's over 800 pages long! <laugh>

  5. Brilliant piece on this horrid individual by Matthew Parris.... Calls her 'the Death Star of modern British politics.
Having been unfortunate enough to have crossed paths with this individual, seemingly totally bereft of any human sensitivities, I would concur wholeheartedly.

It does not exist, however, outside of those labs. Clearly what happened is that the Orange Overlord saw it mentioned in passing on Twitter and, because context is boring, assumed that meant it was had already been rolled out and those dirty Chinese were already using it.

It's not a million miles away from the time I worked in IT where, because Chrome was being spoken up in the various papers prior to its launch, I had to field several calls from people demanding to know why Chrome wasn't on their computers - not least one ten minute call where not only did I repeatedly inform them that Chrome had not yet been launched so it couldn't be on their computer no matter how many times they complain about Internet Explorer being slow, but after they called me incompetent for not implementing something that didn't exist outside a tech lab and was not available to the general public I went up to their floor and explained to them in some detail why they were wrong

By "in some detail" I mean "very ****ing loudly"

    Exists is exists.

And Trump is correct, because outside of the mighty Qualcomm,
the USA in its current mobile network infrastructure vendor malaise
is unlikely to be the lead player in the 6G market (when it arrives
within the next 5-10 years) .

The Day The Clown Cried exists, but that's no reason to assume the public have full access to it at this very second because they won't until at least mid-2024

So no, Trump's not correct, Trump's just demonstrating that old adage about stopped clocks telling the right time twice a day, but that doesn't mean they're any good for their job

As someone who does work in the industry (and on 5G radio right now) ,
I can tell you the criteria for when radio comms tech "exists" is not when
the sheeple have it in their hands.

Yet when it's little more than a formless idea being kicked around in labs, it does not exist - it's a formless idea being kicked around in labs that's not set for rollout anytime soon, with the first specifications not predicted until sometime in the middle of the next decade (right in time to watch The day the Clown Cried, ironically enough)

You are so not in the industry (hence the "formless idea" nonsense) .
Anyone who works in the industry can tell you right now, that 6G will have target
performance (wrt its predecessor tech) of :

    - 10x the speed in the downlink
    - latency up to a tenth
    - up to 10x user "densification"

That is hardly "formless" (far from it - the "self-fulfilling prophecies" that tech so love) .

"with the first specifications not predicted until sometime in the middle of the next decade (right in time to watch The day the Clown Cried, ironically enough)"

    https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/2/17927712/verizon-5g-home-internet-real-speed-meaning

5G commercially developed while international stds (in this case the
3GPP "Release 15" specs) were still in churn.

Please do feel free to ask me things about 5G (the underlying tech, the 3GPP specs etc)
    and its likely successor tech.
