The BBC continue to dig a hole for themselves over the whole Vicargate shambles, as they claim that Her Holiness The Most Reverend Lynn wasn't a paid actress but only received a publicly-funded disturbance fee Yeah, this one also came back to bite them...
Well this afternoon's been busy... First of all, the Tories made history as the first British government to be found in contempt of parliament and now have to publish the full legal advice they received over Britait, which left Geoffrey Cox sat on the front bench wearing the facial expression of a walrus receiving a blowjob, no doubt in the realisation he's been stitched up and will probably have to resign - and swiftly followed that up by being the first government since 1978 to lose three parliamentary votes on the same day Secondly there's the story that waffling gargoyle Nigel Farage has resigned from UKIP as he doesn't like how the party is becoming indistinguishable from the BNP...which means he's somehow failing to notice that's how the party was when he was leading it, making his resignation come across like the last harrumph from a tantrum-throwing toddler. However, now that he's technically an independent, I don't expect the Question Time appearances will dry up anytime soon... Meanwhile, third on the list, the BBC has quietly canceled their Britait debate and, of course, released a statement where they state that nothing is their fault so they shouldn't have to apologise let alone take any responsibility for torpedoing their own debate long before it emerged they were paying actresses...sorry, giving actresses a disturbance fee to pose as members of the public in the assumption they wouldn't get caught out
Neither May nor ****age, nor the Beeb have had many good days recently, but even by their low standards and expectations they’ve surpassed themselves as lowlights go today.
A few days ago Quakers announced that they would no longer support Israeli occupation of Palestine, declaring that they would not invest in any company who profit from the occupation Within a couple of hours the Board of Deputies released a statement accusing them of...go ahead, I'm sure you can complete the sentence yourselves.
Looks like Boris Johnson is in trouble again after "forgetting" to declare the £52,000 the Torygraph paid him Sort of like he forgot to have an actual point when blustering in parliament the other day, something which Roger Gale was swift to point out...
“The more controlled a person is, the more intelligent they are, the more they can make the decision. But he’s just like every other client. He’s not more … you know, controlled than any other client. In fact, he’s a little less.” Rudy Giuliani referring to his client, Donald Trump. More controlled means more intelligent? So less controlled means...? He's calling Trump an idiot, isn't he?
Yeah - they really hammered him this time. Poor bugger had to stand up and apologise........ Feckin’ WOW!
Another ‘whoops!’ - this time a Tory MP Richard Ingram who in trying to defend his position inadvertently hyperlinks not to the supporting document but to.......... Wait for it........... His ‘Plenty of Fish’ account I’m sure his wife Anthea and their children are thrilled......
Is it known how much Britain has contributed to the "common market" since laughing boy Ted Heath got us in...…..and who benefitted? Certainly not us!
****ing moron Priti Patel has crawled out of the woodwork to state that, if Ireland does not support the UK over Britait, the UK should threaten them with food shortages - or, to put it another way, threaten to starve them into submission So not only does she reveal herself to be a willing to inflict suffering on millions in order to get her way, she also reveals that she's completely ignorant of the fact that 37% of the UK's food is imported from Ireland which begs the question what she actually did as International Development Secretary if she apparently didn't know this.
There's a reason that they call her Priti Vacant. She's the Google result for those two words, by the way.
While we could be here all night listing every moronic thing about her threat and still have plenty to add in the morning, the part that's spectacularly stupid on her part is thinking that threatening Ireland with a big stick will work - somehow forgetting that, as Ireland is an EU member, that's 27 big sticks that the UK can be threatened with and she's given their holders reason to consider it
It's hell in the White house as not only Mueller but the New York Feds go after......Shhhhh. You know who.
Greetings from Cork......... (puts his empty bowl to one side ) Fair to say that anything Patel or any of her cronies usually spouts doesn’t generally get a mention here. Er, not so this time...... Conjuring up memories of the Great Famine, when Britain last starved the people of Ireland into ’submission’ is not a great idea and it’s fair to say that she probably should postpone any planned trips over here for, oh say the next 50 years or so... if in the unlikely event she lasts that long. But behind it all, there is also a mood of ‘OK, UK twats, bring it on.....’
Add to that the slight issue that her threats don't even stack up in reality, to the point she;d have been better off trying to threaten Bulgaria please log in to view this image
