Of course, the Trumpists are trying to blame the Democrats for this, saying he was a registered Democrat...while ignoring that he became a registered Republican in 2016 when the Orange Overlord received the nomination. But there's no connection there, obviously...

Obviously I wasn't following Sayoc on Twitter at any point in the past couple of years, but I'm curious to see a compilation of his tweets from the past three or four years to see if, like so many other times, you can actually plot out his descent into being a far-right nutjob. Take Mr "Anyone who disagrees with me is an anti-semitic Nazi communist sympathising bigot" as the perfect example: a couple of years back he was posting photos of him and his newborn daughter and talking about his new life in Ireland and working on new music, and late last year (IIRC) he was suddenly back in the USofA and there were no photos of his daughter and that's when the far-right dickheadedry began to flow, at first almost entirely aimed at MeToo before turning into r/TheDonald on a lot of Red Bull to the point anyone who started following him in the past six months probably weren't even aware he's a musician, because he sure as **** wasn't mentioning working on anything. Now I'm not going to suggest the mother of his child kicked him out and, at some point in the process, he lost his Irish visa...but I can't think of any other way to finish this sentence.

A similar thing happened with somebody else I was Facebook friends with: for a few years he was a perfectly good bloke, but then the Scottish independence referendum seemed to flip a switch in his head as he started posting anti-SNP stuff and talking about immigrants, and then the conspiracy theories about the Glasgow bin lorry crash began, which was soon followed by him piping up anytime there was any Islamic terror attack in Europe and at that point some really unpleasant people started appearing in his comments, and then the EU Referendum kicked him up another gear to the point he was having a go at some of my friends on my page after the result came in - which is when I unfriended him (note I said unfriended, not blocked) because that's just too much.

I often wondered if the early (Germanic?) Trumps jumped off the boat and disappeared ala The Caravan?

Not that early. His granddad was Friedrich Trump of Kallstadt in Bavaria.
He went to the US to avoid national service, returned home and was then deported back to America, where he ran brothels.

Reports are suggesting that the perpetrator of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, which has left at least four people dead and six injured, was a white male who shouted "All Jews must die" before he opened fire

Of course the Orange Overlord has attempted to blame the synagogue for what happened, stating they should have had guns inside

Now is Trump happy now? For months he has been preaching hate against many. Was his idea to turn the USA into a living hell?Because it's working! Oh yes ,guns. Nothing said,as usual about banning guns completely as Americans would all be hospital cases just thinking about it!
Tell the South American caravan to turn around.Trump will have his troops ready to shoot you for any excuse....if they don't have white faces! Seig heil!

I saw a recording of Trump mob-followers going to other cities andtrying to kick their opponents to death...….that took me back to the Spurs v Chelsea game of the 60's when the Chelsea mob were kicking fans with their 'bovver boots!" Scary, isn't it? Those Chelsea fans are probably grandads now.I can just see it now....Chelsea grandads with grandkids on their laps retelling of their "good old days!" following Chelsea.

A couple of months back I spotted an aged Palace hooligan walking around Croydon who must have easily been in his 70s, but he was still wearing a vest and doing that hoolie walk where they basically walk around with their arms looking like this...

I don't recall seeing any film or tv stars during my soccer travels, home or away, except Jayne Mansfield at a Spurs v Wolves game in the late 50's,but from a distance!!!! Sad really!!!!?

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...shooting-squirrel-hill-mr-rogers-neighborhood

The shooting occurred a mile from the house I grew up in, where my mother still lives. I was about two miles away when it happened. I expect to know relatives of some of the victims, and tend to think I'll know at least one who died. Tree of Life is the most progressive and liberal of Pittsburgh temples, so much so I'm surprised they bother holding services. It's the Jewish equivalent of the Unitarian churches my family occasionally had some association with...very occasionally. The article about the neighborhood is a good one. Fred Rodgers lived half a mile from Tree of Life. The writer, a Squirrel Hill native, mentions talking to the Pittsburgh mayor at a neighborhood coffee shop. I remember talking to the mayor who preceded him, a Jewish grandmother from Squirrel Hill, at the news stand next door.

Squirrel Hill is very unusual. It's about the last urban Jewish neighborhood in the US, along with Crown Heights, I suppose, but much larger by area. The retired rabbi of Tree of LIfe, when asked whether he ever thought something like this could happen, answered, "I thought about it all the time." Anyone who wanted to attack Jews for miles around would probably go to Squirrel Hill. This attack has been called the deadliest attack on Jews in US history. There was one around the corner from my old house forty years ago. Someone shot and killed a rabbinical student 100 yards from my house.

When asked about the shooting, Trump talked about how it shows the need for armed guards.

Number 6 police station is 300 yards from Tree of Life. Cops from Number 6 got to Tree of Life fast, I'd guess--the first time I've ever heard of cops getting to a mass shooting scene and actually helping while it was going on. They deserve a lot of credit. I'm guessing they had their revolvers with them, meaning they brought knives to a gun fight. They helped by providing a distraction and more targets to the shooter. Three were shot, none fatally. Someone sitting in Tree of Life with a revolver would, at best, have done the same.

Of course, you could give the guard an automatic weapon. In that case, any shooter would have to spend five minutes extra on his hours of recon to find out where the guard was, so he or she could shoot him or her first.

Also, let's think about what would happen if you hired someone whose job description is to cuddle with a gun in a corner. No chance he or she would go postal, surely. No chance you'd have a lot more mass shootings after setting out 10,000 psycho bait job applications and bringing armed wing nuts in to every place where people gather.

I'm expecting absolutely nothing to be done about banning the sale of automatic weapons. But it's good to see there's no blowback from weaponizing political rhetoric.

Why do they all keep going after Jews throughout history? Poor buggers just want to live a quiet life?

What a bloody weekend for USA nutters.

One with a felony history and form stretching back
nearly three decades, still able to officially register
as a member of a USA political party (go figure) .

And another believing the mega-nationalistic Trump
is part of a Jewish global supremacy cabal.

Disliked by Christians of yore because of their ancestors
part in the execution of Jesus.

Hated by Adolf because of the financial power they got in Europe
(which in some part probably has its roots in them being
historically prepared to loan money with interest repayment -
forbidden in Islam - frowned upon in medieval Christian
    societies) .

The formation of the state of Israel (and the subsequent plight
    of native Palestinians) .

Quite a brew there with just the above, for those with the
appropriate mindset (and/or mental illness) .

Throw in Megyn Kelly losing her job at NBC for saying you should be allowed to black up on Halloween, which mainly begs the question why NBC offered her more money than Fox news had been paying her previously considering their editorial position can best be described as "Fox News calls us left-wing so we may as well play along with that description in the hope it fools somebody"
