I quite like your idea of setting zero tariffs with the UK, the pound should fall far enough to compensate. It would allow the importation of necessities such as medicines with no hiccups. An open border between Ireland and Northern Ireland is a must, so zero tariffs solves a one way problem. Then it becomes the EU's problem, not ours. Perhaps you should become a Politician RDBD, no silly me, you are far too practical and sensible for that. You say 'anywhere in the specrum', I think one of the extremes is more likely. But you could be right. but I have to stick with 'any deal is a bad deal'. Remoaners, BeLeavers with not stop harping on, the PM has a poison chalice, whatever deal she agrees, if she agrees one, will be wrong in someones eyes, one size does not fit all..
if you do a 'Tariffs 101' analysis, then for all the widely-agreed threats that lead to engaging in a tariff war with another nation, the UK in grand plan has no reason to do so with the EU. "Perhaps you should become a Politician RDBD, no silly me, you are far too practical and sensible for that." I would like a "civil service" of people educated in the scientific/engineering regimes, tasked with nothing more than scrutinising the means of achieving some policy P, or devising various means of achieving P. I am of a school of thought that goes : 1. Is it moral ?? 2. Let the numbers decide Politicians must decide #1 for any proposed policy P. My "civil service" will then give their verdict on #2, openly (their "workings" must be in the public domain) and without any emotional considerations whatsoever. "You say 'anywhere in the specrum', I think one of the extremes is more likely. But you could be right." Good science/engineering always attempts to set a spectrum of possibilities, with the extremes defined (as you did) . People can then show you where they believe the outcomes of their plans will fall in that spectrum.
Anyone else suspicious of the much discussed low expectations for today's EU talks. Why do I think an agreement is ready to go but they want it to sound heroic. I'd be surprised if nothing is pulled out the bag today. The pessimism is being heaped on too much.
There is belief among some that a deal is long agreed, and now all that is being worked out is the politnik speak so that both sides can claim to be the "winner" in this war. Of course, Parliament could still vote down any such deal ...
Trump is a superb media troll, no doubting it. The USA media could have attempted to bury the defamation verdict loss by Ms Daniels, yet by the horse-face blurb he brought it front and centre. If he wants to go mega WUM, he should claim for legal costs to the reasonable level allowed for the representation he hired, pay that money to a charity of Fauxcahontas' choice regarding his "native American " $1m wager, and tell the world what he has done. That would cause a superb meltdown as : 1. Ms Daniels has been crowd-funded for her legal machinations 2. He would be honouring some of the sum of that wager. 3. The crowd-funders are no doubt the usual anti-Trump sheeple, and so he would be taking their money for a cause that is now lost (causing more triggering to them) and also silencing them in part on something else about him that they are also triggered over. If he could also get SCOTUS Kavanaugh to publicly hand over a cheque for #2 to Warren, I reckon the USA would have enough thermal energy released to keep their winter temperatures to 20C for a decade.
We thought that the Brixiteers arguments were becoming increasingly bizarre. This just confirms it......Un-feckin-believable!
The problem is that, by bringing it front and centre, he also brings forward the fact his dick was compared to... please log in to view this image Not exactly something that somebody with half a brain would want to remind people of
I'm particularly impressed by this bullshit response below......but or hes' still feckin' there!! Wake the hell up, America!! Trump: "I covered it so nicely on '60 Minutes,′ but they only put on pieces of it, and they were fine but you know they cut, cut, cut because I guess they have so much time." "60 Minutes" has said they cut any Trump answer or comment that they couldn't independently verify. So, yes, "cut cut cut" is an accurate description.
So it's okay for the Saudis to murder people who reside in Virginia and write for the Washington Post if they're not US citizens? Got it.
"I was duped, I want to change my mind!" says Gove after two years of telling people who were duped and want to change their mind that they can't
I found a couple of pictures they should put on the note... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image ...oh wait, they doesn't fit the narrative does it?
