Going back a few days, here's the thing I'll always remember about Rudy Giuliani. I was in New York a couple of weeks before 9/11 and to say he was hated by the majority is one hell of an understatement, as "despised" is a more accurate description of public opinion as the right hated him due to offering rights to immigrants and the LGBTetc community, the left hated him due to being in the pocket of Fox News, and most people hated him for his clampdowns on "quality of life" offences such as jumping turnstiles on the subway, carrying any amount of cannabis, or public urination (the last being a real problem as NYC has approximately 1 public toilet per 650,000 people) - but then 9/11 happened and he became The Best of Us™, somebody above any and all criticism, and for a time he was more popular than the POTUS (although given who the POTUS was, that really wasn't much of an achievement...) Says a lot that he's rotated right back to the majority of people thinking he's a moronic asshole, doesn't it?

It also might be an excuse to shut the organisation down and start another, identical one in order to avoid the Russian connection. Being caught channeling oligarch cash into a Presidential campaign and being infiltrated by Russian spies is not a good look.
