Montego Bay, Jamaica has been in a state of emergency since January after 2017 brought this small parish 335 gun and knife related murders, hundreds of seriously injured and countless muggings!! Why mention here? Well, while the UK and Canadian governments have at least issued ‘advisory notes’, the US has decided against pre-warning the thousands of American tourists who descend on that holiday destination all year round. Economic interest apparently Trumps protecting their people....... Also goes someway to explaining why Trump decided to exaggerate (‘lie’) about events and situations in both London and Paris. If I was a US citizen I would be asking why my government was preventing me from making informed decisions for the safety of myself and my family.

May started all that as well...... The government now quote figures of rising Police numbers, conveniently forgetting that before their enforced cuts a) numbers were already low and b) that you can't replace experienced officers, especially specialist investigators and expect a drip feed of new recruits to make up the difference. The police service in general is in disarray and if it wasn't for a couple of strong PCC's increasing the funding, those Forces might well have been declared bankrupt by now! Good work, Mrs May - your incompetence is awesome!!

It's worse than that. I haven't been to the States for years but people like North and the Watergate conspirators are held up as shining beacons of the political right. They've had their own talk shows on ultra-right wing radio and been lauded as true American heroes. These are people who have been to prison (well North had a suspended sentence) for their crimes. That was years ago, it must be much worse by now!
This mindset is epitomised by the Falling down film, where that baldy in the shop thought that everything that the Michael Douglas character was doing that day was because he shared exactly the same political/social views. A very now analogue would be some "alt right" bods and Jordan Peterson.
Trumps pulled the US plug on the Iran deal, despite the other Partners in the deal and every expert and member of the Weapons inspection team counseling against that course of action. Even the majority of Republicans in Congress are against this decision. No - Trump prefers to believe the likes of John Bolton, the White House version of Mr Pastry and Netanyahu’s already discredited allegations about a report that turned out to be more than a decade out of date! Not saying that Iran is innocent in their actions, but the deal will likely continue anyway. There is no Plan B - which perhaps Trump should have given more thought to before cutting the cord.
Perhaps it is tiime for the Western World to act in accordance and shun the USA, and impose sanctions on the USA until it reinstates the Iran agreement and resigns the Paris accord regarding climate change. It would take guts but it is do-able.
The Iran deal must have had something to do with Obama.I believe Trump thinks he's not a racist but he hates Obama.Anything the former President did or said has been changed or smeared by that fat yellow poxed up devil in the White House.
