Didn't I see Trump using a jumbo jet to take him from Washington to (was it) New York. How much did that cost the taxpayer,I wonder? Train would have been cheaper!

  5. It’s probably another nail in the matrimonial coffin - if there was any remaining room for another nail.....
Reinforcing the disturbing fascination he has with his daughter as a sexual object..... the guy is a sick, sleazebag.... but large swathes of the populous continue to support him regardless, which maybe says as much about them as him! <yikes>

It's because they don't think any of it is true. They're sold a ton of bullshit every day by certain sections of the media.
He's been made out to be some sort of messiah by a bunch of them and he can't do anything wrong.

  7. There are still well-attended gatherings across the US for the Flat Earth Society, with many denying that there is any curvature of the earth at the horizon. Believing in Trump is almost understandable faced with that level of idiocy. <laugh>

PS - anyone else having problems when trying to open the emoticon tray on the mobile app? More often than not, when I try it justs opens an alternate page. Always seems to work the next time...... weird :steam:

There is a core of the electorate who will
blindly support their political party no
matter what. For Labour it seemed to be
around 28% at the time of "bigot-gate" .
For the Republican party, no doubt the
pollsters can derive a similar rough number.

How does one support a liar, totally useless in his job and a molester, who backs other molesters. You would think that would put women off, apparently not....

Sadly the majority of human beings mental capacity is spoiled by the beliefs of their parents. Most human beings are really incapable of any independent thought because their heads are full of medieval ideas about gods. They never really grow up.

  12. If anyone wants to see a lesson in how a political leader should behave and communicate to the public through a TV interview, I suggest you watch Macron on Andrew Marr this morning.
Quality act from top to toe, dealing with diverse issues from Brexit to Trump eruditely, confidently and as a statesman. <applause>

"Right now, a number of state laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month. It is wrong. It has to change." - stable genius Donald Trump, 19th January 2018

Boy in Kentucky went to school with a gun and shot and killed 2 classmates and wounded about 8 others!

They kill them at church,concerts,schools....where will it end.....and where are they getting these guns?

But according to the NRA, we need more guns to stop this from happening.

By that logic, and their "good guys with guns" arguments, fire engines should actually be filled with napalm.

Now it's 17 injured. First responders are being praised........now this boy had,it says,a revolver. Now I don't know about guns except that,I believe,a revolver contains 6 bullets. So he must have got off at least 19 bullets. What were these "first responders" doing? Letting him reload...and reload....and...?

.....and Mr.Trump wants to build a wall to keep killers out......am I missing something here?
